Crain’s New York Business has selected Partner Carol C. Villegas to its 2021 list of “Notable Women in Law.”  The impressive attorneys who comprise this list are chosen not only for their skills and accomplishments but also for their efforts to shore up the edifice of justice.

Carol is recognized for her innovative litigation strategies, expert discovery work, and superior oral argument skills, as well as her pro bono work and involvement in industry and community organizations.  At Labaton Keller Sucharow, Carol prosecutes securities fraud cases on behalf of institutional investors and has been a key player in securing advantageous settlements for many.  She holds several leadership positions at the Firm, including Chief of Compliance and Co-Chair of the Women’s Networking and Mentoring Initiative.
