Partner Lauren A. Ormbsee spoke with Law360 about legal trends in their article entitled, “Securities Class Actions To Watch In 2025.”

Lauren weighs in on recent decisions in securities cases that have reverberated through the courts, such as a ruling that set a new standard for granting class certification in securities lawsuits.  Specifically, the U.S. Supreme Court has ordered lower court judges to consider whether alleged corporate misstatements were too generic to have had an effect on a company's stock price.  Lauren shares that “there could be more class certification motions that find stronger opposition. . . .”
