Labaton Keller Sucharow Partner and Chair of the Corporate Governance and Shareholders Rights Litigation Practice Ned Weinberger is one of 11 lawyers recognized as Law360’s 2025 “Titans of the Plaintiffs Bar.”  This prestigious list honors a select few attorneys who have achieved significant victories for plaintiffs over the past year, securing billions of dollars in settlements and judgments for both classes and individual plaintiffs against massive companies.

Under Ned’s pragmatic leadership, he and his team continue to achieve tremendous recoveries and noteworthy corporate governance reforms on behalf of shareholders.   Law360’s profile highlights some of Ned’s recent largest victories, including: a suit challenging a $23.9 billion Dell Technologies Inc. stock swap, where he secured a historic $1 billion cash settlement—the largest prejudgment recovery ever achieved in a fiduciary duty action in the Delaware Chancery Court; a suit on behalf of former Discovery, Inc. shareholders challenging the company's $43 billion merger with AT&T's Warner Media, which achieved a $125 million settlement; a $123 million settlement and significant corporate governance reforms addressing Walmart Inc.’s role in the opioid crisis; and a $100 million settlement in a class action challenging the self-interested 2019 acquisition of Pattern Energy Group by the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.

Speaking on his successes, Ned told Law360, "It's the result of just doing top-caliber work for years and years, and all of that work materializing in a really exceptional result."  Law360 adds that, "Weinberger's wins are a testament to his legal acumen " and that his success “has had a compounding effect, pushing him and his team to be better every day."

Partner Eric J. Belfi highlighted that Ned, "really thinks through issues and is very analytical," and that, "Ned has a unique understanding of the 'Delaware way' and can pick up on nuances in Chancery Court.” "The partners have so much respect for Ned as a leader.  He's been through the battles. . .  and he's got a tremendous amount of experience under his belt, and so there's tremendous confidence in his leadership ability.”
