In re Hain Celestial Heavy Metals Baby Food Litigation

On December 28, 2021, Magistrate Judge Anne Y. Shields of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York appointed Labaton Keller Sucharow to serve as lead counsel in a consumer class action against the organic and natural baby food manufacturer, Hain Celestial Group Inc. (Hain Celestial).  The case asserts that Hain Celestial misrepresented and omitted crucial information regarding the presence of toxic heavy metals in Earth’s Best Baby Foods.  Additionally, it questions the safety and quality control of Hain Celestial's internal standards and testing protocols.

The case is In re Hain Celestial Heavy Metals BabyFood Litigation, No. 21-cv-0678 (E.D.N.Y.).
