Labaton Keller Sucharow once again received a top tier ranking among plaintiffs’ securities litigation firms in the United States in Institutional Shareholder Services Securities Class Action Services’ “Top 40 Plaintiff Law Firms of 2023” report.  The Firm was ranked second, recovering $1.38 billion for shareholders in 2023.  Labaton was also recognized as recovering more money in fewer cases than any other firm ranked.

In 2023, Labaton was co-lead counsel in In re Dell Technologies Inc. Class V Stockholders Litigation ($1 billion recovery) in the Delaware Chancery Court, which was also ranked as the largest fiduciary class action settlement of 2023 in ISS SCAS’s “Largest Securities-Related Class Action Settlements of 2023” report. In addition, Labaton achieved settlements against Alexion Pharmaceuticals ($122.5 million) as co-lead counsel and All State Corporation ($90 million) as lead counsel, among others.

ISS SCAS’s annual report is an analysis of securities class action litigation firms and their results in the previous year. The report ranks plaintiff firms both by dollar value of final recoveries in which the law firm served as lead or co-lead counsel and the number of settlements achieved in the year.
