Partner Lauren A. Ormsbee Joins Labaton Keller Sucharow

Labaton Keller Sucharow LLP is pleased to announce that Lauren Ormsbee will be joining the Firm’s New York office, where she will serve as a Litigation Team Leader and a member of the Firm’s Securities Litigation Practice Group.

Lauren’s practice will focus on prosecuting complex securities fraud cases on behalf of institutional investors worldwide. As a leader of one of the Firm's Securities Litigation Teams, she will take a hands-on approach, diligently overseeing significant securities matters to achieve successful outcomes for wronged investors.

Lauren has been recognized as one of “The Top 50 Attorneys of New York” by Attorney Intel and as a “Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyer” by Lawdragon.  Prior to joining the Firm, Lauren was a Partner at Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann LLP, where she was an integral part of trial teams in numerous major actions including: In re HealthSouth Bondholder Litigation, In re Wilmington Trust Securities Litigation, In re SCANA CorporationSecurities Litigation, and In re Allergan Generic Drug Pricing Securities Litigation, among others. Earlier in her career, Lauren was an Associate at Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison, LLP and served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Colleen McMahon, former Chief Judge of the Southern District of New York.  Lauren is currently Co-Chair of the New York City Bar Association’s Securities Litigation Committee.

Lauren is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and received her undergraduate degree from Duke University.
