Iuliia Kassai is an Associate in the New York office of Labaton Keller Sucharow LLP. Iuliia focuses on prosecuting complex securities fraud cases on behalf on institutional investors.
Before joining the Firm, Iuliia was an Associate at Gusrae Kaplan Nusbaum PLLC, where she handled complex securities actions in federal, state, and appellate courts, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Prior to that, she was an Associate at Gerard Fox Law, where she focused on complex corporate and commercial matters. Iuliia also gained valuable experience as a Commercial Division Judicial Intern to Justice Andrea Masley and as a Civil Division Judicial Fellow to Justice Gerald Lebovits at the Supreme Court of the State of New York.
Iuliia is an active member of the New York City Bar Association, where she serves as a member of the Independence of Lawyers and Judges Task Force, as well as the New York State Bar Association.
Iuliia earned her Master of Laws from Fordham University School of Law, where she was awarded the Graduate Student Scholarship for Academic Achievement. She earned her law degree from Moscow State Law Academy, cum laude, and was recognized as one of The Best Graduates of the Year by the Ministry of Education.
She is fluent in Russian.
